Answer:

Option #2 is the correct answer. Spit that shit out! STIs love the warm dampness that inside of the mouth provides and can offer a fantastic way for STIs to pass though the walls of the inner mouth to get inside a person and possibly infect that person.

If an infected person shoots a load into another person’s mouth, the STIs live and thrive in these optimal conditions, and can very easily be passed to another person. These tiny parasites, bacteria and/or viruses that cause STIs are wicked little creatures that search for tiny openings in on the inner walls of the mouth and pass through tiny openings in the gums. For those STIs that are still surviving and hanging out in the mouth, once they are swallowed and reach the stomach, they are immediately killed by the acid.

Because STIs can transmit via the mouth into the body, some people recommend the “two hour” rule which basically means waiting two hours between brushing and going down on someone to allow the little openings created while brushing to close before those little sperm get anywhere near that mouth. So for Pete’s sake, please have some restraint, that dick will still be there in a couple of hours!!

I've never barebacked but i have been guilty of giving unsafe oral sex. I remember getting tested and it was the worst experience of my life.The nurse at my school said it would take 2 weeks to find out! I couldn't sit in class without feeling dizzy from the anxiety, I stopped eating, I convinced myself that I had it just to feel somewhat better. I was on my way of doing serious harm to body just by waiting for the results. Luckily, came across a website and found a center that gave free, rapid HIV tests. Test came back negative and so did the one from my school. I DO NOT want to go through that again. I want to be as safe as possible from now on, and I would like for everyone else to be too.

Thank you "Me." The ultimate solution to transmission of STDs would be for everyone to go home and get under their bed and and never leave. And hopefully one won't be bitten by a spider whilst under there. Wow - so my options are to live a sex-free existence in a hyperbaric chamber - or I find out how one signs up for this mysterious 'monogamous relationship with an uninfected partner'. Yeah, right - like he's waiting on every corner.

I'm always disheartened by the comments I read here - which seem to follow some remarkably similar trends.

There's the lesbian haters (check); the self-hating gays who tell us we deserve everything we get because we just behave so darn badly (check); the self-hating gays who constantly berate us because we're not straight enough and might make some suburban nuclear family uncomfortable (check); the sex-phobic gays who tell us how guilty we should feel because we even have a sex drive (check); and those who just didn't understand the article (check).

After reading through all that I feel pretty depressed.

One thing I hate about gays on online forums such as this one is that the things that they usually post are just so unrealistic! All this talk about "staying in a monogamous relationship, blah blah blah" is SO unrealistic. You know (like I know) that a lot of gay men like to have sex with a lot of other gay men. That's reality. There's a reason why the HIV infection rate is rising among young gay men.

But anyway, to answer the original question, I would say that there isn't much harm in swallowing. I've been swallowing for years, and haven't gotten infected with HIV or any other STD. I agree with CT's answer.

I have been having this conversation recently with various healthcare professionals/colleagues and have come to the conclusion that between spitting and swallowing--swallowing is the better option. When you spit cum out, it remains in your mouth longer than if you swallow it once it is ejaculated as opposed to getting up and going to spit it out elsewhere. Once you swallow cum, stomach acid works as a neutralizer.

The third and not mentioned option of the article which makes the most sense is to not get cum in your mouth at all if there is any doubt as how avoid the STD possibility. Reducing/eliminating contact is the point, isn't it article author?
